Obviously they've been blacklisted. The game is ok. But Nero and AnyDvD don't work any more. Also I noticed a slight drop in my system's speed since I installed Spore. And I had to switch from AVG to Antivira because AVG detected a virus after I installed spore.Nice work EA.
I ran it twice to make sure and the second time it claimed that there were no authorized copies of spore on my pc. That said, I will probably never play it again. I really really enjoyed playing this game. So how can my code possibly have been used too many times. I upgraded my pc to windows 7 and apparently that isn't allowed by ea. I even used the de-authorization tool before I upgraded. This is clearly a serious flaw in the design. Don't waste your money.
Hi, I'm the oddball here, of course, but games like WoW or others like an Everquest, do not thrill me much. I don't have to micro manage, maybe a little in the early stages, and I think the game-play is humorous. I mean I was playing AD&D waaaaay back in 1982 (12 years old) so I'm just a little tired of that 'World'. Spore provides an organic easy to follow interface and is user friendly. It is a very big change of direction from the the hard core first person shooters I still love like Painkiller Resurrection, Half Life 2, and Wolfenstein. In conclusion, sometimes it's just nice to play (remember play keeps us young), with no pressure, and get to explore a little creativity in a point and click fashion.TY
Wow. What could have been a legacy and legend in gaming is destroyed by Corperate stupidity. BOYCOTT THIS CRAP. Freaking EA man, they don't care about the customer, and it seems they delight in tormenting the player. BOYCOTT EA. Draconian. I'm so glad I read these reviews before buying this. Heed the warnings of the victims of EA's evil.
Their system sounds downright Satanic. Poor Will Wright. I've been waiting forever for a game like this and EA killed it before it's time. SHUT THEM DOWN NOW BEFORE THEY DESTROY GAMING FOREVER.
My son wanted this game for Christmas - we ordered it and it arrived on time. We have all ended up playing it and it really is a family game that was worth every penny.
